Marston Vale line resumes services James Billington, November 25, 2023 London North Western Railway have finally restarted services on the Marston Vale line the line between Bedford and Bletchley. Trains on the line have been up in air since December 2022, when Vivarail went into administration. Vivarail maintained the fleet of refurbished Class 230 diesel trains, a modified version version of the old London Underground D-Stock trains. After months of rail replacement bus services, trains will restart service for the residents of towns like Stewartby, but only four trains per day will operate across the line.
