ORR gives Grand Central Peterborough permission

Grand Central have been given permission by the Office of Rail and Road (ORR) to serve Peterborough. Although the date is not confirmed, this is likely to come into effect in and around December 10th, for the December timetable changes. The new services will open up opportunities for Peterborough’s residents and those of neighbouring towns in the form of direct trains to new places like Bradford and Sunderland.
